Non Alcoholic Beer manufacturer needed to inject a liquid dye

Need

Inject a liquid dye (0.2 to 4%) into a pipe of non-alcoholic beer (800 to 3000 l/h)

Suction in a 25-litre canister 

Solution

Supply of a PCM Additive station equipped with a DACC 36/40-16 PNEU, a suction rod, with its empty can detection and an electromagnetic flow meter (control of the dye dose via a dosing top for all the liters of beer passing through the pipes) 

Benefits

The dose of colouring is injected automatically every litre of beer. Even if this flow rate varies, the percentage of additive injected into the final product remains constant. The entire machine can be cleaned in place without disassembly.

Beverage manufacturer wanted to inject alcohol based aromas

Need

Injection of alcohol-based aromas upstream of the buffer hopper of a 40000-bottle KHS bottling machine (0.33 and 0.5 liters) and a SIDEL 25000-bottle bottling machine (1.0 and 1.5 liters). 

Guarantee a constant percentage of aroma (0.03% to 0.12%) even if the feed rate of the two bottlers varies. Ensuring that aroma injection does not stop during production

Solution

Supply of 2 PCM Additive station. Each dosing set is equipped with a Dosys™ DACC pump with adjustment of the dosing to be injected by Brushless motor, two suction canisters with empty can detection, a set of pilot-operated valves to automatically switch to the emergency canister when the first canister is empty and an injection kit with pilot-operated valves to be installed upstream of the bottler's buffer hopper. 

The aroma dosing control is synchronized with the dosing top of the flow meter installed on the water line to be flavored. 

Benefits

Even when the speed of the bottling machines varies significantly, the aroma injection remains proportional because the Dosys™ pump only injects the requested quantity when the flow meter's dosing top is received. In addition, the empty canister control, combined with the automatic tipping to the full emergency canister, ensures that there is no production stoppage and that the finished bottled product will always be perfectly flavoured.

Manufacturer of energy drinks needed to inject fruit pulp and coulis

Need

Injection of fruit pulp and coulis for the manufacture of energy drinks. 

Storage of pulp and grout in 200-litre flexible bags

 The percentage of pulp or coulis must be constant even if there is a variation in the flow rate of the beverage preparation line.

All equipment must be cleanable and sterilizable in place

Solution

Supply of a PCM Dosing Unit dosing skid equipped with a DACC 63/100-23 SMB with automatic displacement adjustment, an empty bag detection system and an electromagnetic flowmeter mounted on the beverage line.

Benefits

The Dosys™ pump is able to pump fruit grouts and pulps regardless of viscosity variations. Servo control via a dosing top from the flow meter (X grams of pulp are injected for every X liters of beverage measured by the flow meter. The flow slows down, we inject more slowly. The flow of drinks accelerates, the grout is injected more quickly. But we always inject the same percentage.

Dosys™ equipment is designed to be cleanable-in-place (CIP) and sterilizable in place (SIP), thus guaranteeing perfect hygiene.

A beverage manufacturer wanted to inject gold flakes in alcohol

Need

Add a 2 ml dose of a solution containing gold flakes to a bottle.

Inject at a rate of 50 bottles per minute, directly on the bottling machine 

Solution

Supply of a PCM Additive Fill dosing skid equipped with a DACC 12/20-08 SMB with automatic displacement adjustment, a vacuum container detection system and an injection nozzle.

Benefits

The Dosys™ 12/20-08 pump is very precise and does not clog despite the high concentration of flakes. In fact, the design of its full-bore dosing head, with no restriction on passage, ball or spring, allows pieces to be passed through to reach up to 8 mm, without the risk of clogging, even to make small doses (adjustable displacement from 0.5 to 2.25 ml)

The Dosys™ 12/20-08 pump can also be cleaned in place without disassembly, thus ensuring that all the gold flakes contained in the pipes will be recovered and reconditioned.
